About
A proud member of the Mvscogee tribe, from Oklahoma, I grew up with a strong sense of heritage and identity and a deep knowing that self identity is crucial to leadership and the fullest expression of creativity. Discussions of marginalization and colonization has been active in my family since I can remember: beginning with, "a young lady is to be seen and not heard," racism within my own family, racism directed at my family, and being openly out at the age of sixteen.
I invested decades into my education and experience, working to succeed inside a system that had already decided what success should look like — and who it was built for. Feeling like I was playing a game without a sense of the rules, I chose to dedicate my work to understanding the games of money and success, so I could help elevate the experiences of my clients instead. I took the leap to work with people who aligned with my vision of business, leadership, and the future. My work is to amplify their voices through their successes and confidence as leaders in business.
For 15+ years, I've worked with founders, startups, and entrepreneurs as a fractional CFO and strategic advisor — optimizing business models, raising capital, and bringing these visions to life. My work is about more than numbers: it's about reshaping how business gets done, and shifting the balance of power and money, together.
EXPERTISE
I'm an entrepreneur and strategic advisor to startups, small businesses, and executive teams. Over 15+ years, I've provided operational strategy, business and financial modeling, organizational design, leadership development, and coaching — most recently as part of the executive team that doubled Revry's revenue year-over-year for four consecutive years, and as Interim CFO for The Princeton Review, where I closed a monthly-close gap by more than a week and built a first-time annual budgeting process. My focus is on streamlining and improving the economics of businesses while staying sensitive to the mission, humans, and creative vision behind them — I see each business as a living organism.
Values
The rigor and accountability I bring to client relationships — years of athletics and team dynamics taught me that trust is earned through consistency, not talk. I carry that same discipline into my work today: breaking down business and finance in a way clients can genuinely understand, so every decision is one they're equipped to make with confidence and that they can defend.
Mission
I'm most passionate about the clients I have the privilege to work with and advocate for — I see them as a reflection of the future business is evolving into, and that belief fuels my commitment to educating and elevating people of color, women, LGBTQIA+ founders, and others from non-traditional business backgrounds, so they can find success on their own terms. My goal: help my clients grow and thrive in their ventures, feel genuinely empowered in their finances, and build businesses that reflect the world they want to create.
